Store it upright, not on it's side, Keep it away from heat and humidity.
Keep it in it's case. Store it fully rewound and run it at least once a year.
It is also a good idea to back up or transfer your tapes to a higher quality
and more durable DVD disc."

if it strongly recommended, now that the technology exists, to make digital copies
of those priceless memories. Videotapes can fade or breakdown over time.
This process is greatly accelerated by not taking proper care of them. The process
can be slowed, but not stopped. Making digital copies now onto a DVD disk can
digitally preserve the quality you have left. Your information then is not magnetic
particles on vinyl tape it is burned onto a disk and has been estimated to last at
least a 100 years. Those same estimations gave VHS tapes, less than 10 years.
when the next great wave of technology replaces DVD eventually, you will already
have a perfect digital copy to transfer and pass on to future generations, who are
certain to appreciate it!
Photos to DVD
Customer MUST own the duplication rights to the originals. No copyrighted materials
will be accepted. Proof may be required. No offensive or obscene items allowed as
determined by Unreel Videos, Inc. Client still is liable for set up fee for rejected
items
Includes: Scanning of image onto DVD. Each photo is on screen for
aprox. 6-8 seconds each and is set to your choice of our standard house music".
All photos MUST be numbered in PENCIL* on the back in the order that they are
to recorded . *NOTE - Ink may bleed through to other photos and ruin them.
If pencil will not mark on photo, use a sticky note first.
